I am in network with North East Delta Dental PPO and Premier Plans only.
I do not bill services to your dental 'insurance.' Payment is due at the time of service.
I will provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your dental benefit 'insurance' company for reimbursement. However, I cannot guarantee reimbursement for any services and recommend that you check with your 'insurance' prior to your appointment to see what they may reimburse.
Some out-of-state dental plans do not recognize Independent Dental Hygienists yet.
Fun Fact: Dental insurance companies no longer identify as "insurance" companies but rather as dental benefit or dental savings plans. Dental benefit plans are not designed to cover all costs associated with care but are intended to enhance the affordability of care. 1
Think of your dental 'insurance' as a rebate or coupon.

It is recommended that you maintain a relationship and see a dentist yearly for an exam.
If you do not already have a dentist, I can provide a referral for any treatment recommendations.
While diagnosing cavities or certain pathologies is not within my scope as an IPDH, I can identify suspicious areas that may require evaluation by a licensed dentist.
Yes, I recommend scheduling a visit once the first baby teeth appear!
The initial visits will be child-led, allowing them to become comfortable with the dental environment and helping to create a positive experience.
These visits also offer a valuable opportunity for parents or guardians to learn about nutrition, airway health, and developmental milestones.
The Midcoast Health Collective building offers reserved parking for clients only.
We are conveniently located across from the Rockland Ferry Terminal, just before Autozone.
There are three designated parking spaces in front of the building and three more on Granite Street to the left.
Please note that there is no designated handicap parking available.
The entrance is located to the right of the building. Once inside, take a left into the reception area, make yourself comfortable. I will be out to get you when I am ready for your appointment.
For accessibility, there is a wheelchair ramp to the right of the building, providing access to the same entrance.
My office is located in a building shared with other wellness practitioners. To ensure that all clients have an uninterrupted experience, I kindly request that children not be brought to adult appointments.
I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If this happens, please contact me prior to your appointment so we can determine if rescheduling is the best option. I want to ensure you have a focused and uninterrupted experience, so we can make the most of your time and accomplish everything you need.
Currently, I do not accept MaineCare or Medicaid plans.
