At least 2x a day, morning and night. With a extra soft, soft or electric toothbrush.
I personally often alternate between a manual and electric. Best of both worlds!
Rule of thumb is 1x a day, at night before bed.
Sometimes the spaces between our teeth are larger and floss is not as efficient. I may then recommend an interproximal brush. There are many different sizes, at your visit I will recommend the best size for you!
I have found the best thing to do is both!
The floss and/or interdental brush helps to dislodge food and the water flosser helps to flush it out!
At least 2 minutes. 30 seconds in each quadrant of your mouth.
If you have orthodontic appliances (braces, Invisalign etc.) it is recommended to brush 3-4 minutes.
